For 9th and 10th Grade Students

Early College Preparation Program

August-May of 9th and 10th grade

The Early College Preparation Program includes ten sessions per school year in freshman and sophomore years.  In 9th and 10th grade, Smart Path provides guidance to students as they navigate these early years in their college preparation.  This includes ongoing evaluation of transcripts and guidance on course selection, creating a standardized testing plan, and support on time management and study skills.  Beyond the classroom and critically strategic for today’s college application, Smart Path will help students and families find internships and summer programs and choose volunteer opportunities and extracurricular activities to build their college resumes. Smart Path also uses career, personality, and interest assessments to aid students in personal and leadership development.  In addition to the counseling sessions, Smart Path is always available by email to help students and families make decisions as they arise.

Junior year students who have participated in The Early College Preparation Program for 9th and 10th grades receive a $500 discount when they enroll in the 11th Grade Comprehensive Research Guidance Program below.
